We market a diverse range of grains – such as wheat, sorghum, corn, and barley.

Standard & General markets wheat, sorghum, corn, and barley from producers all over the globe. Our strength comes from our mutually beneficial relationships with grain producers in major growing regions around the world.

The grains we market are some of the main ingredients in the world's food, providing essential nutrients through everyday products such as bread, noodles, rice, and tortillas. Grains are also used in the production of alcohol, animal feed, ethanol, and cosmetics.​

Wheat

Standard & General market wheat and durum from major producers in Canada, Argentina, Russia, and Australia. We can ensure a consistent supply of durum, noodle, feed, and milling wheat in bulk and in containers. We have a presence in the global durum market with networks in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Russia, Kazakhstan, Australia, and Europe; this allows us to supply our customer's needs in North and South America, North and Sub-Saharan Africa, the EU and Turkey. 


 

Barley

Barley is one of our core agricultural commodities. We have an unrivaled network of producers in all the critical barley-producing regions around the world. We can supply feed barley, and malting barley tailored explicitly to the different demands of our customers. 


 

Sorghum


Standard & General market red sorghum from the US, Argentina, and Australia, and white sorghum from India and Ukraine to industrial food producers in Africa and Asia.


 

Corn


We supply non-GMO and genetically modified (GMO) corn for feed, ethanol, and starch products. We guarantee sustainable, consistent, and safe corn.
